Step 1: Understand Your Packaging Needs

One day, a client (let's call him Client A) reached out via WhatsApp. He found us on our website and was interested in creating a custom pouch for his pickleball product. His goal? To create packaging that would help his brand stand out by printing his logo and other branding details on the pouch.  

Step 2: Provide Product Dimensions

To get started, I asked him if he knew the pouch size required to fit the pickleball. If he already had a pouch size in mind, he could send it over. If not, he just needed to share the dimensions of the pickleball, and we would calculate the pouch size for him.

Client A had already done his homework and sent both the estimated pouch size and the pickleball dimensions.  This is the safest approach because it helps us double-check if the pouch size works with the product.  

Step 3: Customizing the Design

Once we confirmed the pouch size, the next step was to discuss the design. Client A wanted navy blue and dark blue colors on both the front and back of the pouch, along with his logo on each side.

I told him that once he provided the logo file, we could create a preliminary design draft and send it over for his approval. He was quick to send the logo, and our design team created a custom design based on his input. After a few rounds of revisions, we finalized the design.  

  Step 4: Sampling the Packaging

With the design finalized, we moved on to sampling. After a few weeks, the samples were ready and sent to Client A. He was happy with the packaging, though he wanted a few minor adjustments. After those tweaks, he proceeded with the bulk order.
